Discussion: Jeanine Pirro's Show Goes AWOL From Fox News Lineup After Omar Comments

So if Judge P wanted to start a debate then who did she have on her show to debate the question? If her statement was at the beginning of her show and she didn’t ask any of her ‘guests’ to comment then she wasn’t debating, just plain old baiting.

Too bad the whole network isn’t AWOL.

It’s SAD that Pirro gets the hook … but Tucker can do whatever he likes?

(It’s not SAD that Pirro gets hook)

What, exactly was the topic of this debate that she wanted to start? The first amendment?

Maybe she’s just on a “planned but secret” vacation like Carlson…

some internet piffle that seems now to contain perhaps one micro-scintilla of something worth revisiting, shitty spelling and formatting aside.

what’s most galling is the implication of power Murdoch has over the US (and the rest of the world).
Bring back the fairness doctrine! break up media empires! Get off my lawn!

Her ratings must have been in the basement, otherwise I don’t see why removing her. What she said isn’t all that outrageous by Fox News standards.

Fox News weekend host Jeanine Pirro’s show didn’t air a week after her
comments questioning U.S. Rep. Ilhan Omar over her wearing a Muslim head
covering.

Yeah, that’s what she did. She just questioned Omar’s wearing of a head scarf. Thanks, AP.

Like Gen. Flynn’s questioning of Hillary Clinton’s email policy.

As fun as that Murdoch rumor stuff is, I’m extremely skeptical.

Pirro had questioned whether Omar’s wearing of a hijab was “indicative
of her adherence to Sharia law, which is in itself antithetical to the
U.S. Constitution?”

Is wearing a crucifix by a member of congress "antithetical to the
U.S. Constitution”?

hence the use of the word piffle. It was only of interest in that it had an air of truthiness to it.

Well, since we’re on the topic of inappropriate shit rightwing nutjobs do…Time for TPM to publish that FB posting from Steve King. That shit is really outrageous coming from a House Representative. Considering these wingnuts have spent nearly two weeks going after Omar with such hypocrisy, it is far more important we condemn King’s insane willingness to foment violence and sedition against the United States.

Rightwing terrorism is on the rise and this boneheaded Congressman is more than willing to stoke that shit. This has to be addressed and can’t simply be written off imo.

You are aware that there are those on the Left that also have fever dreams…

I guess King thinks Iowa is a blue state or thinks it’s going to be soon.

yes, indeed, but two month’s ago this one was total BS; it now has a molecule of interest.

I just realized that both houses of Congress are not in session this week. Not sure why that is, but I just checked the Congressional calendar. Wonder if that’s why Steve King did this, thinking like a 3 year old that he might be able to get away with it.

Maybe they’re all taking off for Purim this week. Hah.

Is he gone too? That would be nice.
