If I lived in NY and they had the only hipster coffee shop in the city, you wouldn’t catch me there. I would think when people find out who the owners are there might be a boycott.

That’s a given.

Jared is too busy in DC. He needs to ease up and get back to his business.

It may just be my fading memory, but can anyone recall this kind of business transaction in the news done by advisors to other occupants if the White House?
While some folks may boycott it, I bet others will see staying there as a way to curry favor with the WH, just like foreign nationals who stay at the Trump Hotel in DC.
It’s all about spreading the emoluments around.

No doubt putting the finishing touches on imposing peace upon the Middle East.

After just six months, Jared Kushner has apparently learned all he needs to know about the history of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. His conclusion? “Not a whole lot has been accomplished over the last 40 or 50 years we’ve been doing this.”

Speaking to a group of congressional interns in what was supposed to be an off-the-record meeting, Kushner said that after researching the conflict’s history and speaking with “a lot of people,” he’d learned that “this is a very emotionally charged situation.”

“Everyone finds an issue, that ‘You have to understand what they did then’ and 'You have to understand that they did this,’” said Kushner. “But how does that help us get peace? Let’s not focus on that. We don’t want a history lesson. We’ve read enough books. Let’s focus on, How do you come up with a conclusion to the situation?”

Asked by someone during the off-the-record interview session how the Trump administration’s approach to peace is unique, he simply responded, “I don’t know.”

Are you sure it wasn’t the Saudis who bought it?

There goes the neighborhood.

Money can buy all sorts of things including Jared’s Harvard degree but two things it can’t buy: brains and morals.

This is just so wrong. This deal needs a surgical examination for ethical concerns. Details of the sales transaction? Details of the source and type of financing? Details of te new ownership structure? Details re Jared’s working on the deal literally from the white House, on government time? Have at it, Democtats. I smell something fishy.

If they called the coffee shop “Covfefe” I would at least stop for a photo. But they won’t, they’re not that hip (or at all).

I thought Jared would be busy putting things in order. Oh well.

And, the loan’s coming from a normal bank in the US, I assume.

It is unseemly in trying to expand one’s base to those who characterize themselves as “hip.”

P.S. When you have to buy “hip,” you’re not “hip.”

All the better to get hipster intel.

I couldn’t get a mortgage for my very small home because I work as a freelance editor. I had 2/3 of the down payment and absolutely no debt. And these guys get financing for a coffee shop.
