This is James O’Keefe:
CNN is producing a documentary on young conservative activists. Reporter Abbie Boudreau wanted to cover a music video O’Keefe and some other guys are making. O’Keefe apparently refused to allow CNN access to the shoot, then formulated a “caper” to embarrass Bougreau. The subject, the setup, the planned payoff — none of it made any sense.
According to the O’Keefe associate who blew the whistle on the dumb prank before it got started:
“I have a problem on my hands that I think has the potential for unnecessary backlash,” Santa wrote. “Today, James is meeting with a CNN correspondent today on his boat. She is doing a piece on the movement of young conservative filmmakers.
“She doesn’t know she is getting on a boat but rather James’ office. James has staged the boat to be a palace of pleasure with all sorts of props, wants to have a bizarre sexual conversation with her. He wants to gag CNN.”
She wrote that “the idea is incredibly bad” and “the more I think about it we should not be doing this.”
O’Keefe had also instructed Santa to print a “pleasure palace graphic” on a large poster, according to an e-mail.

I blame Hillary-hate for the dumbening down of the press and for their showing up to this event at the Press Club. I also blame the Twitter for that (and everything else).

The campaign staff at the booth – which included Director of Marketing Molly Barker and Compliance Manager Erin Tibe – informed her that since she was not a U.S. citizen, she could not legally contribute to the campaign. The undercover Project Veritas member then offers to take the Canadian woman’s cash and make the contribution for her.
Maybe she can move in next door to D’Souza.

ReTHUggs will probably have a Hillary “expose” late in the game. But they gotta be careful.
(a) If they spring it too early, people might forget before Election Day
(b) if they spring it too late, people might think it’s “trumped-up” (forgive the pun)
The BEST thing that the ReTHUggs can do…is what they are doing NOW…
Start out with a theme (like emails) that is so nebulous and subject to regulatory interpretation that spin-doctors can be employed to stoke it up from multiple angles…then just use the MSM to run it til the election, with the “certainty” that the TeeVee wouldn’t be sayin’ this stuff all the time if there wasn’t something REALLY “there”.

That won’t work forever. They can keep attention fixed on this vague pseudo-scandal while there isn’t a real campaign going on… but once there’s actual campaigning drowning out everything else, it can’t hold on unless there’s actual tangible wrongdoing.
Just yesterday, the AP ran a story admitting that nothing that’s been revealed even remotely approaches legal jeopardy for HRC. Of course, they closed with a “but questions will surely be raised because of retroactive classification” etc., etc. – the Clinton rules: “questions” = “scandal” until proven otherwise (in other words, it’s a scandal as long as someone makes an accusation).
But eventually, without anything concrete, it will be swamped by the actual campaign.
