In a better world this would be front-page news. James O’Keefe, who at best can be described as a horribly dishonest propagandist, just received an award from the politically active wife of a Supreme Court justice for a “sting” in which he had an employee pretend to be a rape victim to try to get a newspaper to publish false claims against a conservative senatorial candidate that has been accused of sexually preying on teenage girls.
Seriously, think about that and let it digest, and then realize that kind of story is now ho-hum in Trump’s America. If anybody thinks we aren’t on the steep slope to fascism, think about what would happen to a liberal (or simply non-conservative) organization or individual that took part in any of that.
It’s difficult to overestimate the ability of Fox News propaganda to rot the brains of the elderly. Scalia and the Thomases were extreme back in the 1980s, but nothing like this.
Shouldn’t it say “Ginni Thomas, wife of perverted sexual harasser” for the person presenting?
And to think, the people with the back of their heads in the picture applauding looks like business folks and people of means. They all had to know about O’keefe’s failed and fake WAPO so-called investigation.
This is what I’m fucking talking about. We’ve got a good guy being forced to resign because of allegations that he touched women inappropriately.
They’ve got a pedophile going to the Senate. They’ve got a serial sexual predator in the White House. Now they’ve got the wife of a Supreme Court Justice giving awards to a guy who routinely hides behind the First Amendment to present false documentaries that either attempt to or succeed in ruining peoples’ reputations.
Despite the fact that the Washington Post discovered she was not actually a victim, Project Veritas still claimed the stunt was a victory.

Oh yeah, she was parading around with the Tea Party nuts and going to rallies, raising money and promoting Tea Party swag back in 2010 or so. She got called out for it but they just said it’s ok, she’s republican.
