Very appropriate, but frankly I don’t think Comey should be on Twitter, at least not commenting on public affairs linked to his former job.
OT but Gallup had Trump at 33 percent even before today. Seems newsworthy to me.

Agreed. Unless this is designed to stoke a fire under Trump’s ass and provoke him to further incriminate himself, Comey is just providing the alt-right wood to burn.

I find it deeply comforting that Comey is such a fan of Reinhold Niebuhr. It says so much to me about his character.

While I too believe that Comey’s announcement had something to do with Hillary’s loss, I recall that Mr. Comey was punked by the Russians, and he knew he was being punked, he just had no good alternatives.
Blame Comey if you like, but, as I said elsewhere today: The Russians were engaged in acts of war, and you’d expect that to make bad things happen.

Trump had a bigly huge terrible day today, but the smart money is that the Gallup number will regress to the mean in the short term. We’re not going to see new record low numbers day after day. Don’t despair when it’s 34% or 35% tomorrow.
