Yeah, “henchperson” sounds so much better.

She is right. “Lock Her Up” is really what we need.

“Well, I don’t like the intonation of that, which, you know, assumes that, I think, you know, I don’t like the word accomplice, because, you know, in this context, I don’t know that that’s productive,” she said.

She’s got the same problem as her old man. Can’t talk good.

How about complicit instead?

“Unproductive” or not, it’s still true.

Get used to it, baby, you’re aiding and abetting…and, I sincerely hope, you and the rest of the evil spawn will pay the price.

If being a rubber stamp with no area of expertise to draw on when giving her Daddy a sounding board for his poorly thought out, unworkable proposals is being an accomplice then she is just that, an accomplice.

That’s a shame because if she doesn’t like words such as “accomplice” or “complicit” she’s going to really hate being on trial.

John Oliver took her and Jared apart on HBO last night. It was perfect.

If you don’t want to be labeled an “accomplice” then you shouldn’t hang around known criminals, like your dad, and your husband, and your brothers… But hey, there is Melania , say what you want about the gold-digging ho, but nobody is calling her an “accomplice”, it’s not that hard.

I’m thinking “collaborator” may be the way to go.

It may not be productive, but does have the benefit of being accurate.

Remarkable she didn’t disagree on that basis. Needs a new PR hack?

Ivanka Trump on Tuesday said that she doesn’t like suggestions that she is her father’s “accomplice”.

“Criminal co-conspirator”?
“Accessory before and after the fact”?
“Collaborator”?
“Abettor”?
“Confederate”?
“Partner in crime”?

The possibilities are endless…

(PS: My personal favorite would be “convict”.)

Word salad? Oh, no thanks, I just had lunch.

Complicit accomplice works for me.

@irasdad - when do we add “traitor” to the list?

Now available on Ivanka on-line in honor of her dad.

“That’s not always true in politics,” she said. “That’s actually seldom true."

I think you think you know more than you actually do. Now that you’re done parsing “accomplice”, maybe try “hubris” next.
