As someone on twitter said over the weekend…Greasing the palms of princes is one of the surest ways to gain the favor of the king. Especially when the prince or princess is sitting right in the room leaning on you while you are talking to the king.
This really doesn’t support the argument I hear frequently that Ivanka is the ethical and trustworthy member of the Trump family and is in tune with the issues of regular Americans.

I wrote it elsewhere but I’ll jot it down again: most people do everything they can to hide their corruption, but the Trump family takes theirs out for a night on the town.
Donald Trump is going to do whatever he pleases during his Presidency. He owns Congress. He will have control of all the oversight agencies and Congressional committees. After the 2018 midterms that have Dems defending three times the seats in the Senate that the GOP defends Trump will have a filibuster proof majority in that body. He will remake SCOTUS and the Federal courts. Sooner or later people will come to the realization Trump is de facto King. He is exempt from the rules. That’s a fact.
I think Trump - and his kids - look at the Presidency primarily as a great marketing and branding opportunity.
Hopefully, this will land one or more of them in jail.
