You misspelled “seditious.”

o/t -but worth a quick read:

Post almost certainly putting together extension based on material they’ve been sitting on. By tomorrow their opinnion page will have Trump apoplectic. ETA-noticed in the past they compensate a bit in advance before unleashing howitzer.
NYT, who knows? Maybe Maggie will have stop-press intelligence on the color of Donald’s pajamas later on.
Bring on the perp walk! Who will it be?
Yes. He doesn’t broadcast it, and he doesn’t expect anyone to believe as he does.
He just goes about his business, and unlike most who profess religious beliefs, Carter lives his.
We may not agree with him, but he is a genuinely sincere man.
So how will this play out? I did feel that Trump’s antics over the past few weeks would accelerate Mueller’s timetable. Once Mueller had countered that there was a 3rd investigation opened up against Manafort as a seeming response to the GOP/MSM Steele Dossier hysteria, it felt to me as if he understood the political environment and that he would be better off establishing a beach head to continue the investigation sooner rather than later.
Is this one or multiple indictments? Based on Roger Stone’s rants on twitter, I think this is more than one. I believe Roger seems to have an understanding (perhaps based on his attorneys’ analysis) of how bad this is for him and the entire team. The string of news touching the Flynn thread on hacking/use of stolen materials + the entry of Woolsey into the mix as an eyewitness against Flynn tells me that Flynn will be indicted for multiple crimes. Flynn is radioactive. I believe his crimes range from FARA to FECA to Logan Act to conspiracy to bribery. I also suspect that Mueller will continue his investigations into Flynn and establish whether he committed espionage or violated confidentiality laws during the Transition with the handling of classified information.
I also think Manafort will get hit with a few charges while Mueller digs in more. With Manafort, in addition to FECA violations, I’m very interested to see what the GJ returns on the money laundering related front. The question I have in my mind is whether Mueller returns a whole bunch of indictments now as a Big Bang approach or starts with a few big ones to extend the investigation and re-set the political calculus in DC. For example, he probably has enough info to determine whether someone has lied, concealed or spoiled evidence. He probably has what he needs to indict people like Stone and perhaps Junior. Will be interesting to see what he has in store. I don’t expect Mueller to reveal all, just the pieces needed to arrest someone.
Then there’s the matter of Michael Cohen and Felix Sater. It seemed pretty clear to me that Sater has been cooperating with the Mueller probe for months and I suspected that the Kremlin told Sater to do so as a type of insurance policy against Trump.
This.
I’ve never heard him attempt to push his beliefs on anyone or suggest that the government should be in the business of doing that.
Roy Moore he is not.
Hey Thunder,
Who said that? It’s brilliant, but I gotta know who said that. I love quotes but it’s neat to know who said them. Plus, it’s good to give credit where it’s due. ![]()
Thanks!
Karl
I wonder what would happen if Mueller goes big out of the gate. Doesn’t that dare Prez PeePee to fire him?
I don’t know who said it.
A friend in Florida sent it to me.
I think we have to wait for 3 AM to see the fireworks.
Trump knew about the charges coming, and resurrected the dead conspiracy just in time for Halloween. Mueller reports to Rosenstein, and if Rosy didn’t inform Trump, then Rosy’s boss, Sessions did. I believe Mueller is even required to update Rosenstein and/or Sessions.
As for Mon/Tues arrests, it already is a sh*tstorm from the GOP, so nothing new there. Surely Manafort and Flynn will be good bets, but I am hoping Stone is thrown in for good measure.
More cries from the fever swamp:
When a special prosecutor comes up empty, the answer is to start filing charges. It’s the incarnation of the inquisition.
It recently came out that Mueller is invested in George Soros’ hedge fund, which has a $10 Million minimum investment. Gee, for a government worker, Mueller sure does seem to have a lot of scratch. Soros bought and paid for Mueller, and he expects results.
From a citizen perspective, watching a cop walk past a woman getting violated, a man getting shot, and another one robbed, so he can give out a parking ticket is distressing. Mueller is close to this reality with a ‘shocking’ indictment, because Seth Rich is shot and dead, the American public have been robbed, and I might say violated by a Secretary of State who committed treason with the Russians.
The heat on all the recent uncovered democrat scandals, including Muellers, is getting too much to handle. Deflection is necessary.
Why is Meuller in power after giving the Russians aid and comfort against the USA? and then covering it up? and getting paid to do it?
I’m SURE mccain at some level is helping to get Trump removed. Mueller has no intention of stepping down and there is no real pressure for him to. They’re out to get Trump. And they won’t stop until they do In which case, things will get very nasty in this country.
President Trump and that POS Sessions have allowed this asshat to continue for months on what is nothing but a witch hunt to keep the media hounds and the stupid American people from focusing on the REAL criminals in positions of power in our government and in the private sector. The Deep State criminals are going to destroy our Constitutional Republic unless the POTUS and his legions of supporters do not declare WAR on these traitors.
Yes, keep them out of his hands.
He updates Rosenstein—but Sessions is out of the loop because he recused himself. He cannot be privy to any of the information, except what he reads in the paper or hears on TV.
