I don’t like Issa. I don’t like Christie.

I also don’t like personal attacks. Any politician’s positions and record are fair game. Not his/her appearance, or his family, or anything else that has nothing to do with political positions or fitness* for elective office.

*Christie is overweight, granted – but he’s not morbidly obese in any way that would limit his ability to hold office.

While I largely agree, family isn’t completely off limits. They are off-limits if you are attacking them simply for being family, but in the case of Rubio, for example, the fact that his brother in law was a drug trafficker (and not simply some dude selling some weed out of his college dorm, but someone who was selling millions of dollars worth of cocaine) is definitely something that is well within limits.
