Ruh-roh, Donnie…
Was Neti getting a $50 million penthouse, too?
OMG, this is SO unfair. Jared & I have known the Netanyahus for years and they are no more crooked than we are! We’ll be spending alot of time at the embassy next year, so get a chance to catch up. New China deal has me superbusy, like all U working moms out there with billion $ trademarks - so hard sometimes.

note to trump: bribes are apparently more effective than threats.
O please indict Bibi - please!
Get him out of there
It may be premature, but It is like someone could consider dithering around drafting an epilogue to this world wide freak’n mess.
Maybe narrated by Sam Elliot, Lebowski style.
Finally, one of the worst SOB’s in the world might be accountable for something.
Police said they found sufficient evidence that confidants of Netanyahu promoted regulatory changes worth hundreds of millions of dollars to Bezeq. In exchange, they believe Netanyahu used his connections with Elovitch to receive positive press coverage on Bezeq’s popular news site Walla.
Hey, Bob Corker. Lucky for you you’re not an Israeli.
It seems to me if we had these sort of laws here and actually enforced them, we could render the Adelsons and Kochs relatively toothless. What else are they doing if not bribing politicians through their Super-PACs for decisions favorable to their businesses?
One of the first big legislative initiatives Nancy Pelosi is going to undertake is a set of laws aimed at corruption.
Let the chant begin…
LOCK HIM UP!!! LOCK HIM UP!!! LOCK HIM UP!!!
This is probably the least of what Netanyahu should be indicted for. But I’ll take it. Gladly.
"The prime minister has denied any wrongdoing, dismissing the accusations as a witch hunt orchestrated by the media."
Gee, I wonder from where Bebe got that idea?
Hmmm, beneficial regulatory changes in exchange for positive media coverage…why does that sound so familiar?
Wait. Haven’t we seen this movie before? This isn’t the first time Bibi’s been in trouble for corruption.
And certainly not the first time Bibi’s been busy with corruption.
And unlike the Republicans, these laws will be aimed at curbing corruption, instead of encouraging it.
I’m talkin’ about the OSC here. Sometimes, there’s a man, well, he’s the man for his time and place. He fits right in there.
It’s bigger than that, though. Koch built places like the Cato Institute, the U of Virginia’s department of economics, and George Mason University. Using a blueprint designed by the late James Buchanan, Koch built a pipeline for producing sleeper agents who work to create their boss’s vision of extreme libertarianism, cynically packaged to look like “freedom.”
They fabricate the “economic” scholarship that is the notional intellectual underpinning of the “more principled” GOP anarchists.
They teach lawyers and judges that the only criteria by which public policy can be evaluated is whether it is compatible with unfettered capitalism. In the '90s, they rightly bragged that 40% of federal judges had gone through their training.
They write model legislation designed to eviscerate public controls, and to elevate the power of organized minorities (not ethnic or cultural minorities; think “1 rich guy has as much power as 20 million voters”). ALEC is not an accident: it is a Koch-funded think tank that weaponizes the difficulty of crafting sane legislation.
Yeah, Citizens United opened a huge door that permits wealthy individuals to unilaterally alter the incentive structure in which elected officials operate. That is, Citizens United is autocracy. But even if you strip that away, you are left with a massive Fifth Column of thralls who work for a tiny board of oligarchs.
Your mouth to dog’s ears.
