It must be true if it’s in ALL CAPS.

“Terror Tunnels!”, the new “Benghaaaaaaaaziiiiiiiiiii!!!”…

Do you have a preferred term for bombing sleeping kids in a shelter?

It can’t be true if you keep your head in the sand.

“Nothing is more shameful than attacking sleeping children,” the U.N. chief said.

Unfortunately, the supporters of and apologists for this war seem to be impervious to shame.

Israel has agreed to about a half dozen cease fire proposals, Hamas has rejected them all.
This war continues because Hamas wants it, just because they suck at it doesn’t mean it’s not on them.
So the supporters and apologists are all on the Palestinian side.

As proof of my assertion, ladies and gentlemen, I present to you Exhibit A, mjv135. ^^^^

Israel basically is a nation of extremist teabaggers. From “Goliath,” by Max Blumenthal:

Daniel Bar-Tal, world renowned political psychologist conducted a survey of Jewish Israeli attitudes after the 2008-2009 slaughter of Palestinians they dubbed " Operation Cast Lead". His summarized findings:

Israeli Jew’s consciousness is characterized by a sense of victimization, a siege mentality, blind patriotism, belligerence, self- righteousness, dehumanization of the Palestinians, and the insensitivity to their suffering.

I’ll wager that if he did a similar survey of the Rwandan Tutsi, who had 70% of their citizens living in Rwanda basically chopped to death with machetes, ( a much higher percentage killed than in the holocaust) you would find a more measured people. Unfortunately, the Tutsi are black, so no one really gives a damn. No one partitioned a country for them to call home.

Breaking News.

Israel did NOT blowup a UN school today (yet).

I might choose other words like “tragic” or “heartbreaking.”

Great, maybe that means Hamas did not store any rockets or launch any rockets from a UN school today (yet).

The crazy part is, mjv135’s argument the other day was Israel shouldn’t be criticized because Israel isn’t as bad as ISIS and Assad’s regime in Syria.

That’s really all they’ve got.

Last I checked, this began when Israel attacked Gaza because 3 Israeli’s were kidnapped (which they blamed on Hamas – even as they KNEW Hamas wasn’t involved).

But, yeah, keep blaming the Palestinians for Israel’s actions, all while lecturing others about “apologizing.”

??? I said something about ISIS or Assad?
Or that Israel should not be criticized?

Must be getting old, don’t remember writing anything about that.

Are you contending that the UN employees that run the school are lying?

Or, better yet, is Israel still blaming 5 munitions landing in a school yard on Hamas (even though there is NO WAY 5 rockets could all go off course, and land in the exact area)?

Whateverdude actually means me, and of course, he got that wrong, too, as I didn’t say Israel shouldn’t be criticized, only that it was funny to me that so many of the people decrying Israeli “genocide” seem awfully quiet about what’s going on in Iraq and Syria, my point being that they seem to object less to Arabs being killed than Arabs being killed by Israelis.

Of course, this took place in the context of a discussion in which it became clear that he also didn’t know the difference between Israel Arabs and Palestinians, infant mortality rates and fertility rates, and “genocide” and population growth.

In the context, his mistaking me for you is actually a pretty minor error on his part.

Yes.

You said why is everyone complaining about Israel killing arabs, when more Arabs are being killed in Syria and Iraq.

Pretty sad when Israeli apologists defense is, “We aren’t as bad as Assad and ISIS.”

No, I’m contending that when you have a military organization–Hamas–militarizing schools by storing rockets there and launching rockets from there, then when their targets return fire, the school may tragically be hit.

It seems to me that a pretty simple and elegant solution would be for Hamas to stop operating form the vicinity of schools.
