heavily reliant on a handful of family members and longtime aides
All of whom share his delusions.
Nobody could have imagined that a thin-skinned narcissistic bully with no moral underpinnings whatsoever would behave this badly.
This whole thing smells like strawberries.
“He’s a little bit like a quarterback that gets ahead of his offensive line.”
Like a punch drunk Steve Young stumbling out past the line of scrimmage only to get his block knocked off again.
Have to agree with Spicer, that is offensive - no recent president has been that out of control and his lies are offensive.
Additionally it is dangerous… what irrational impulse will he do next?
To summarize Trump’s current situation:
- The FBI and the CIA are both pissed at him (as are other intelligence agencies).
- The military doesn’t trust him.
- All of our allies think he’s reckless and unstable.
- He hasn’t even appointed around 90% of of the people he needs to fill vacant positions in the executive branch.
- He’s repeatedly undermined the credibility of all of his spokespeople by contradicting them publicly.
- He doesn’t even understand how the federal government works.
- Even Congressional Republicans realize they can’t trust him.
It’s impossible for me to predict exactly when and how all of this will end. I can only say that this will almost certainly end very badly and rather soon.
He increasingly sees himself as the White House’s only effective spokesperson… has eyed hiring producers from Fox News
Trump should consider animation…hire Brad Bird or see if the old Flintstones animators are still alive.
On the bright side, KAC’s utilized her downtime, based on fresh TV observation, tightening those old eye bags and face…
He’s his own Deep Throat
“He’s a little bit like a quarterback that gets ahead of his offensive line.”
More like a lineman who picks up the ball and runs the wrong way.
But what dangerous action will be the result of the explosion… I hope top generals have a contingency plan for not following the commander in chiefs orders when he goes completely off the rails.
Trump could bring in armada of David Gergens and nothing would improve. He has no attention span, no interest in policy, and no sense of self-worth. Every second of his life is devoted to keeping his demons at bay, minute to minute, by whatever means necessary. This is what the media refuses to accept.
And all the David Gergens know this.
So, in other words, he’s the same sick f*ck he’s always been.
The military is supposed to have contingency plans for everything. What could be more of a threat than an insane president?
Keith and Ivanka are saving the juiciest and craziest bits for their huge advance post presidency books.
Trump’s visible anger and erratic tweets prompted a reporter to ask Spicer on Friday if the president was “out of control.”“That’s, frankly, offensive,” Spicer said.
It is. It’s an insult to out of control people. Batshit insane would be the more appropriate description.
sorta reminds me of Fat Elvis’ last few years… isolated… surrounded by hangers on… shooting at TVs… rents amusement parks so he won’t be bothered by fans…
that one didn’t end well either
“he was told by aides that Democrats would likely react positively to the news given the role many believe Comey played in Hillary Clinton’s defeat last year”
If true, then his aides are morons.
