Every time these religiously-based slaughters occur, it reinforces just how dangerous and pernicious nearly all religions are. It’s shocking and sickening to see what humans do to other humans in the name of their chosen superstition. When someone thinks he has divine permission to commit atrocities, there’s no amount of logic that can deter it. Sigh.
