Ok – I was horrified to read this – and all too ready to believe it – but please follow the link to the original article. It is stated that there is a question about the authenticity of this edict. It may be a spontaneous rumor or a deliberate propaganda ploy. The possibility it is false was deliberately buried by the writer (and/or editor) of this article to churn up the hits and comment activity. Damn it TPM – that just toys with my trust of you! Also, commenters – its just STUPID to compare something as deadly serious as mass genital mutilation of women to the Tea Party - even in jest. We complain about Tea Party hyperbole and paranoia, and yet here we do the same.

I wouldn’t expect much alpha behavior from people who have suffered under violent despotic rule, violent foreign intervention, violent quasi self rule and violent civil war much less the veiled and staying indoor stuff.
