Iraqi forces? Where have they been? Were they waiting on the cavalry, US?

This brief blurb said they broke through following US airstrikes against ISIS positions. As far as I’m concerned, every politician who criticizes Obama for not doing enough with American forces is a posturing twit or has a hidden agenda.
