In comments before school teachers, Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei told Trump: “You cannot do a damn thing!”

Khamenei described Trump’s speech Tuesday announcing his decision as having “over 10 lies,” without elaborating on them. He also said Trump’s remarks threatened both Iran’s people and its theocratic government.

Okay, to be fair, I don’t know if the 10 is the exact amount of lies he told in his speech, but of course, it was full of them.
Speaking of which, after reading the transcript, I watched as much as I could stomach of it (about 30 seconds). He was sniffing like a coke fiend working through his third 8 ball of the day. The sniffing was constant.
Bolton, unfortunately, may be the most effective of Trumpp’s appointments. He’s got us well on the way down a very bad path.
I am an American and the idea of America losing influence is disheartening, but it would be funny if the rest of the world told America, fuck you we are going to continue with this agreement. Try imposing sanctions on England, Germany, France, Russia and China. In the end all Trump will have accomplished is putting 100,000 Boeing employees out of work. The folks at Airbus will love it.
I am sorry but Trump is diminishing America’s role in the world. He is actively turning America into a quiet backwater.

I kind of understand them equating Donald’s stupid shit with the rest of us, but I hope they can see that a massive overthrow of Donald would be worse than letting him, hopefully, trash is own presidency and get removed by the system is better in the long run.
I wouldn’t mind being in a quiet backwater but Trump is turning us into a country run by organized crime, like Italy is and we don’t have any of Italy’s assets to offset the pain of living in that kind of country.

And qualitatively speaking I’d say it’s inevitably more like (Putin’s) Russia than Italy, though we haven’t been there just yet – our civil society and institutions are robust enough to resist so far. Those bulwarks have been slowly but surely eroding under the assaults though, and Team Mueller gotta hurry up…
