Whatever, idiot.

She sure sounds desperate.

You know what the replacement for the IRS will look like? It will look like the IRS.

I’m still trying to figure it out–are you stupid and crazy and that’s why you join the Republicans, or do you join the Republicans and they do something to you that makes you stupid and crazy?

Cause every last one of them is stupid and crazy. I remember a time when this was not so–but then something happened to alter the equation. Some sort of strange attractor that increasingly concentrated the crazy and drained off the intelligence like a weird black hole.

The IRS just enforces tax laws. What do the Koch brothers, I mean, you propose to replace it with?

The IRS is not the tax law. They are the administrators/executors. Scarp the IRS means no staffing. Just how would that work in her distorted world? Change the tax law and the IRS changes accordingly. No matter what the tax law, there needs to be an administrator. What a moronic idea of hers.

The truth is we really don’t need the IRS. If the tax code were progressive and fair for both people and corporations there wouldn’t be a need for the IRS at all. The form would be the size of a postcard, and we’d simply send all our taxes off to the Treasury.

Scrap the IRS now like she wants with the insanity our tax code is at right now, and there’d be mayhem. The Treasury would be too bogged down trying to process taxes rather than doing its other duties. This is why the IRS exists in the first place.

Republicans want every service government can offer, streets, interstates, fire depts., hospitals, schools. . . but refuse to pay for any of it.

She doesn’t understand the job description for the job she is applying: She will be expected to write and enact laws… TAX laws. Clearly a Sarah Palin knock-off. Will Iowans see through the mask?

Does anyone proofread these articles before they are posted??? That should be “Braley tried to capitalize on this remark…” Geez.

Epic fail for the DNC if a state that Obama won twice by 10% and 8% elects the most frothing at the mouth crazed teabagger Senator this side of Ted Cruz. Absolutely inexcusable.

Iowa conservatism is becoming an embarrassment to Iowa. There is no other way to say it.

Ignorance is one thing, this crap is dangerous.

She seems to be confused over just what the IRS does, which is enforce the tax code. It’s the Tax laws that need to revamped … but I wouldn’t trust her within 500 yards of them, because she’d give it all away to the Koch fraternity.
