Discussion: Intel Director Blocks Ryan’s Effort To Prevent Clinton From Receiving Briefings

Ryan requested last week that Clinton not receive intelligence briefings due to her use of a private email server while secretary of state

My mind boggles at the thought of Trump receiving the same. His use of email & twitter should disbar him.

This is the Republican MO: Never stop accusing any Democrat aspiring to higher office of serial criminal acts. They did this to Bill Clinton. They did this to Obama. And now its Hillary’s turn. If perchance Bernie was the nominee, they would be lying and screaming and opening up criminal indictments of him. Doesn’t matter who the Dem is–he or she is evil, hates America, is morally corrupt, etc. Meanwhile, we(Dems!) are always talking about forgiveness, moving on, building bridges, etc. for the very real crimes of the righties.

How? He’s so uninformed already.

It has already started and she isn’t even the “official” Democratic nominee for President. A continuation of the Obama Derangement Syndrome, obstruct, abuse, and REFUSE to do the job the voters elected them to do!
I really hope Hillary uses the power of the office of the President to GO AFTER THESE CLOWNS!

Ryan requested last week that Clinton not receive intelligence briefings due to her use of a private email server while secretary of state, noting that FBI Director James Comey qualified her handling of classified information as “careless.”

Yet using ginned-up intel to lie the nation into two concurrent unjustifiable and/or unpaid-for wars?

Meh.

“Briefings for the candidates will be provided on an even-handed non-partisan basis.”

And we’ll just see which one screws up first.

Now, please excuse Paulie Deer In Headlights Ryan from said briefings.

I think I read the candidates don’t get all the good stuff like the President gets. It’s probably more a small sample, like at the end of a brewery tour. I certainly hope so, at least.

WHAM!!! Take that Paul.

So much for your feeble attempt to take a swipe at Hillary, Ryan.

You are really insufferably bad at this!

please slip some egregiously but totally false information to Donnie Dipshit in his briefing and then start the stopwatch to time how long it takes him to start bellowing about it in public…

thank you…

Does anyone seriously believe that, if Trump [1] thought he could get away with it, he wouldn’t sell Putin his daily intel briefings in a heartbeat?

[1] Or Manafort.

Pretty sure that they hate Clapper too.

Our system of governance just doesn’t coincide with neo-con/teabaggerism. They will always throw fits because they literally aren’t just getting what they want because they want it.

Democracy is a consensus, conservatism is a whiny, foot stomping fit thrown by what at first glance appears to be wise adults.

Methinks that conservatives didn’t get near enough titty as infants…and still aren’t.

They’re something out of a twisted idea of a JG Wentworth commercial…

IT’S MY COUNTRY AND I WANT IT NOW!

It’s actually not nearly what you might imagine. There’s so much information on so many points and such superficial analysis with so little basis indicated, and all with so little depth, it’s really difficult to even process, leave aside exploit.

Also, it’s dangerous to even try: Romney tried to in 2012, with that ploy off the briefings he was receiving on Libya. But a little knowledge can so easily turn into such a volatile thing in the hands of someone going off half-cocked, right Mittens? The very ploy Team Mittens hoped would be their October surprise got turned right around on Romney in the foreign affairs part of the debate process. Because Mittens was largely disinterested, out of his depth, overestimated his own perspicacity and underestimated that of his opponent. Mittens is a really smart dude, but not nearly as smart or as expansive in his intelligence as Obama. Few people are.

But Trump is reckless, and he thinks of himself as smarter than anyone. So, maybe he’ll try something. Thing is, he’ll be making the exact same mistake, thinking he can take on Hillary who spent four freaking years intimately submerged in this territory.

Also - Hey CHAFFETZ! So much for your criminal referral, you hacky doofus.

If it said, It’s my country and I want it now! Then I might get it.

Not, ’ I want it back’ but just, I want a sane USA that does prosperous like no other. We have before, we can again.

Conservatives are settling for losing on the take us back to the fifties mantra and they are losing on helping America in the now and beyond. Nice platform they’ve got there, it’s almost sad that they keep losing on it but worse that it drags everyone else down with it…
