I think he’s more worried about Putin ordering a hit on him because he didn’t jump through the hoops with proper aplomb. Our president is an underling in the Russian state-sponsored criminal enterprise. He doesn’t actually give a shit about anything besides himself and his money.
I’m not sure if it will be enough but I agree that’s our best and perhaps only option. The problem is that it’s too easy for Russians (or anyone) to stir up infighting on the left side of the political spectrum. And that’s what they will do. Look forward to a lot more purity trolling, it’s the best way to keep enthusiasm down and keep potential Dem voters from the polls. We really need to keep our heads together and not let that kind of crap work against us. Yes I’m disappointed by lots of things but Dems need to keep our eyes on the prize, as it were, and not get distracted by the things we can’t control.

We proved in AL-Sen and VA-Gov that we can ignore the noise. Putin’s top propagandists were involved with Comrade Moore. It didn’t work. It didn’t work in France either. Just vote.

And we will. I don’t care how much trouble they try to stir up - it’s midterms, we’re the party out of power and we’re mad as hell.

With artificially intelligent automated systems, they could flood enough media channels to create and sustain a completely fabricated reality, and we’d never know that most of our news and social commentary has no basis in truth.
