Trump is the worst politician of all time. Even Hitler and Stalin worked to build coalitions though the time honored practice of being nice to rivals within the political sphere publicly so they would return the favor. It is beyond bizarre that Trump eventually make public feelings of pure hatred and contempt for most of those even most loyal coalition members.
I think it may be fair to say that never in history has there been a successful politician who burns ever bridge every chance he gets. This is the thing that has me as worried as anything about this moment.

Well I suppose there’s a silver lining in this somewhere. Trump is not learning. He’s no different now than he was on day one and that’s hurting him. I don’t think he makes it through his first term with numbers above 35 % and if he keeps this up there will be no Trump 2020. The GOP/FOX will ditch him.
