Cutler doesnāt seem like the type to take a bribe or job offer. He is, however, very stubborn and self righteous.
Not so bizarre when you figure in that if his collusion with LePage and the RGA are to help LePage get re-elected, he needs to be out front and center yelling about his candidacy. Calling a press conference to draw attention to himself and reassure voters that heās still there to spoil Michaudās run makes perfect sense in that context.

The annoying thing about independent candidates is that for all they complain about major party politicians being in it for themselves, their campaigns usually come down to pure ego.
