Ha Ha Russia…Uruguay stomped you 3-0 today at World Cup!! Womp! Womp!

(Sorry, just happy time news. I fell in love with Uruguay from an Anthony Bourdain episode there so I was pulling for them though I’m not much of a soccer/futbol fan)

These are heady days for attorneys who are drooling over the massive legal fees being spent to defend criminals, cheats, frauds, and a host of civil torts. This will be viewed like the Roaring '20s when it comes to enriching lawyers who are lucky enough to fall into retainers from so many Trump criminals and hangers-on. Make hay while the sun DOESN’T shine, boys; these dark days are coming to an end soon.

“Here, the Deputy Attorney General and the Special Counsel are attempting to exercise authority neither the Constitution nor Congress has conferred, and this Court should dismiss the Indictment to restore the checks and balances the Constitution demands,” the firm’s lawyers said."

That’s rich, coming from guys who clearly subverted OUR Constitution.

I say drive them out of business.

The absurdity of these Russian gangsters instructing our courts on the meaning of the United States Constitution is quite amazing.

The nerve of these people:

Concord Management’s lawyers additionally said that even if the regulations were lawful, they would not permit Mueller to prosecute Concord Management.

And they think they get a say in this? Too funny!

I’ve heard there’s case law regarding the Appointments Clause of the Constitution that could conceivably harm Mueller’s investigation.

It is depressing to be sure. I’m not a lawyer, have no idea how to evaluate this.

Is that like “many people say”?

This is a specious bullshit filing and the lawyers know it.

The FBI Charter explicitly authorizes it to perform Counter-Intelligence actions, and a 1941 addendum broadening that power is STILL IN EFFECT.

They are just throwing shit at the wall and hoping it sticks.

It’s the old: “If you can’t dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with Bullshit.”

No sir. I don’t do “many people say”. Never.

I’ll try to get the actual case.

I would like to know who the Federal Judge is and who appointed him/her.

That could be the tagline for a movie about the 2016 election.

Sadly it is this as opposed to the merits of the case upon which this will be decided.

So, you’re saying you are guilty?

This is, if nothing else, short-sighted. If there is no legal authority in the US constitution to prosecute such attacks on the US as crimes, then it becomes a foreign policy/military matter, where, er, due process is not exactly the same.
