Oh hell, it was daughter and pop pizza joint in a town of about 2000 people. Plus, with all that Christian kitsch on the wall, I’ll bet it alienated a fair percentage of that small population. Being a martyr for your beliefs sounds like a good of an excuse as any to shut down a money losing proposition.

It’s a libertarian paradise! He wants to run his business through bigotry and hate, these folks decide to make phone calls to him.
And, fuck-all but what does “Christian-owned business”? It’s a damned pizzeria, and while the owner may be a Christian his bigotry doesn’t flow from anything in the New Testament or anything Jesus Christ is quoted as saying.

I don’t understand your point. He’s losing money making product that people order but don’t pay for. Should he continue to do so because of his faith?
He’s a bigot and I’m not feeling too badly for him, but I don’t understand why he’s not showing courage. He’s making a business decision based on his poor business practices.

What’s so confusing about it? If your chosen business is in direct conflict with the teachings of your cult, you have a decision to make: abandon one or the other.
Furthermore, it takes a peculiarly imbecilic Fox News watcher to misconstrue your motives as honest. You were after publicity, but you failed to recognize that not all publicity is good publicity. There is no guarantee of immunity from consequences on the basis that you’re a dumbass.
But I imagine that once Fox News trumpets your victimhood, the Christo-fascist bigots will be lining up around the block for your shitty pizza. Who knows – maybe you’ll be interviewed by some crackerjack freedom-defenders from the deep bench of Fox News bigots. So in the end, it’ll work out well for you. This is your fifteen minutes of fame.
