Remember, that Frank dude is somebody’s uncle at Thanksgiving dinner every year.
Northern Kentucky, a land of misery.
Calling my shot: In the autopsy of of the GOP POTUS 2016 debacle, “The Electric Chair Float” will be in the Keeper column.
He seems nice.
He didn’t mean to offend anyone. All in good fun!
Yeah, so funny when people are killing effigies of our political leaders … nothing third world about that at all … asshole.
The float’s creator, Frank Linkmeyer, told WCPO that he didn’t mean to offend anyone. He said he creates off-the-wall floats for the parade every year and takes jabs at everyone.
"Police officers, judges, nurses, doctors, heart transplant patients — just a variety of things and the people in Aurora and the surrounding area love to see us in the parade," he told the station.
I’m curious – are police officers, judges, nurses, doctors, heart transplant patients folks he’s “jabbed” in the past? And, if so, how far did he “jab” them? Did they take issue with the “jabbing?” Sounds like he’s just using them as a cover for a display of racism and murder.
So, apparently, according to this scumbag, this is HIS parade and if you don’t like it, don’t come to it next year. Because HE will be there and that’s all that matters.
Please can someone in this fine area make a doll up that looks just like him, with a picture of his face on it getting raped by a chain saw. And, if he doesn’t find it funny, he doesn’t need to come to the fair next year
An Easter Island head painted black and identified as Obama is all in good fun and not meant to offend. After eight years of county GOP chairs sending out images of watermelon patches on the White House lawn, after nearly a year and a half of Trump’s piggery, you’re just more wearily disgusted than in any way surprised or shocked. It makes it something of a challenge to feel optimistic or see the progress we might be making.

You have to admit that a depiction of a man murdering a woman is pretty funny. I’ve been smiling non-stop ever since I saw that image.
Perfectly reasonable.
He claims to be a “democrat” –
I’m embarrassed for my home state - I’ve never been to Aurora, Indiana, though. It’s close to Cincinnati
All in good fun? Well, skeeu, boy! Then how come you didn’t let my float of you humpin’ your sister into all this fun?
He’s from the branch of the Democratic Party known as the Sozialdemokratische Partei Deutschlands
He puts on a puppet show for neighborhood kids every Saturday. Kittens, puppies, swaddled infants and disabled old women are put through mock torture and killings. Fun for all!!
Cincinnati has that effect on nearby towns.
Very classy. The big question is: Why hasn’t he been elected mayor.
Compare:
The float’s creator, Frank Linkmeyer, told WCPO that he didn’t mean to offend anyone. He said he creates off-the-wall floats for the parade every year and takes jabs at everyone.
…and contrast:
The town’s Lions Club, which organizes the parade, released a statement on its website saying it “regretted” Linkmeyer’s display.
It’s so unfortunate for the local Lions Club, whose members certainly can’t be expected to know anything about local people who make floats every year, that there was absolutely no way for them to foresee something like this happening.
