Good griefâŚEVERY time theyâve tried this stupid tactic, it has blown up in their face SPECTACULARLY.
Remember when McMorris-Rodgers did it first? The insane backlash? And how she tried to spin it as âClearly the People are Really Angry about This Turrible Oblammercareâ??
Well that balloon deflated fast. Too funny.
Delightfully ironic that this was in Indiana.
Howâs that grab ya, Pencey?
Oh, please call a vote, Mr. McConnell. Please. Please. Please! Itâll be so helpful to get this on Sen. Flakeâs record!
Theyâll filter those stories out and go with the âhorror storiesâ anyway regardless of how fewâŚ
Same as McMorris Rodgers did.
Seems like folks are FINALLY catching on that ACA does in fact mean Obamacare,
where the pending Conservative Abominably Craven Act (CACA) is owned lock, stock, and barrel by the GOP.
GOP HORROR STORIES
The ACA saves lives.
The bills proposed by the GOP are wildly unpopular.
Muellerâs investigation is expanding.
Trump canât find his limo when itâs two feet away.
Some hilarious posts. Amazed they havenât yanked it yet.
I donât âdoâ Facebook, so if this attempt at a FB link blows up, try Indiana Republican Party
âŚno doubt emphasizing the plight of some small business owner who has been âforcedâ by Obamacare to offer insurance to his employees.
Named Joe, claiming to be a plumberâŚ
and OH MAH GAWDâŚFORCED!!
TREEZIN!! TYR-KNEE!!
SHERIFF JOE, SAVE US!!
Trumpcare will save us from this national nightmare.
Because of the ACA I have insurance and can go to the doctor whenever Iâm sick or injured. But I hate going to the doctor. Thanks for all the broccoli, Obama.
When I read this I thought to myself, âWhy do they keep doing this, the results always go this way?â Then I considered the insular bubble that many die hard GOP-ers operate in. It is like null findings in scientific research, you donât publish (or in this case) talk about the failures. Instead the bubble alt-reality that Obama Care is a horror story lives on, so time and time again efforts by politicians, local/state parties, and even rw media outlets solicit those horror stories and receive the embarrassing results that beyond contradict the assumption.
Expect this to disappear, and somewhere else in the country, before the Senate votes, at least one more of these solicitations will occur.
No surprise here⌠Republicans are divided into two classes that ignore each other completelyâŚ
The rich Republicans think they promised everyone Obamacare repeal which they ignorantly defend because they have never known what it is like to be without healthcare, however expensive and ill-served⌠then the other group, the majority actually, are the middle-class and poor Republicans who just hate the left because FOX said so, yet who are all ON Obamacare by any other name.
Republican lawmakers are ALL in the rich category so they really have just promised each other something the vast majority doesnât want, but when they are together the ideology rules and they forget it was Obamacare recipients who elected them, not their fellow rich Republicans,
Obamacare repeal was always an alt-real rightwing ideological fart. It always stunk of the confusion I just described, it is a service that cares for people, not a program that represents creeping socialism, but as long as they treat it that way we will remain in a state of perpetual confusion.
Remember, he delayed and got delayed, but did do a version of Medicaid expansion in Indiana. That he so blithely is ready to wipe that all away, tells all Hoosiers something we already knew. He was never all that into us, didnât care about being Governor and it was just a vehicle to try to get to the White House.
Republicans are just too stupid and too evil to govern. Period.
And add to that if you really want to fix something, which I know thatâs not their goal but, you need to look at real statistics and not just the ones that show what you want to believe. Goddamn itâs just sad that one half of our political system has no real desire to make things work for the greatest number of people, they just want things to work for them. You need at least two parties system to keep things in balance, but one half of our two party system is just completely out of control.
