Discussion: Indiana GOP Fights Order Extending Hours For Polling Places That Opened Late

“The difference is those ballots can be contested,” Buckley said,
according to NWI.com. “If they’re filed in real time, they cannot be
challenged.”"

Well, at least the evil is being stated boldly and honestly.

The GOP thinks “Because we’re really pumped about the late opening” is a legit argument not to extend hours.

GOP gotta cheat and steal elections. It’s part of their platform.

Despite knowing better, I marvel at functioning human beings rejecting the difference between right and wrong with barely a flicker of recognition.

I can’t believe how right up front ridiculous this is.

“Indiana GOP Fights Order Extending Hours For Polling Places That Opened Late.”

Democrats want as many people as possible to vote; Republicans want as few people as possible to vote.

The next time some idiot yaps, “There’s no difference between Democrats and Republicans!”, remind them.

Because corporate-owned media sure as hell aren’t gonna point out the obvious…

The GOP has zero… zero… integrity.

Over and over again we see it is the GOP that commits voter fraud in America.

Make 'em stop! Go vote!

Do you know where to vote? Google is helping:

https://www.google.com/search?q=Where+do+I+vote+%23ElectionDay#eob=va/4/16/

Voters in states with mail-in balloting should get a Google map showing Ballot Drop boxes near you, usually at City Hall, County Courthouses, libraries or Fire and Police stations. If you really, REALLY want to be sure where to vote call your County Auditor’s office or City Hall. They’ll direct you to your polling place or to a Ballot Drop Box.

Uber, Lyft and many municipal transit companies are offering free or reduced fares to polling places:

The NYT has two excellent pages on voting today, including how to protect your vote when you face unlawful voter suppresion:

And how to spot a disinformation campaign:

Call a friend, neighbor or relative to get you to the polls, or offer help as the ‘family bus’. Just be sure to VOTE!

NEVER GIVE UP! NEVER SURRENDER!

the utterly galling audacity with which voter suppression has been engaged in during this election cycle should usher in a period of national discussion regarding voting in this country

if repubes should refuse to debate honestly, then measures to disenfranchise their voters should be considered loudly (not that I support the disenfranchisement, but I suspect without the stick no consideration of the carrot will be made)

loud and clear the totals of democratic votes and republican votes relative to share of congress should be repeated vociferously anytime a repube complains about voting

If your party can only win by blocking voters, you need to take a good long look in the mirror.

Non, non, noon - it’s really quite rational. The GOP lawyers have seen enough Marvel movies to realize that the "evil bad people" come out at night, and obviously keeping the polling places open after dark would mean that more "evil bad people" would try to vote. Heck, they even have darker skin than “real voters”, so they can hide, so obviously we have to stop them from voting!

You assume they still have a reflection.

Democrats have the big carnival sized tents and Rethugs want to limit theirs to a pup tent.
