Discussion: In Third Lawsuit, Covington Student Seeks $275 Million From NBC Universal

This will end badly for Nick Sandman, and his parents aren’t helping, they’re hurting their son.

Wonder how much FOX will have to pay if liberals sue it the way these Trumpsters did?

They would just bemoan the litigious society in which we live and press for their favorite remedy–‘tort reform.’

Somebody’s parents are seeing visions of sugarplums dancing in their heads.

The kid is going to ultimately pay for this…in ways he and his parents cannot envision.

Indeed. He might well have been completely forgotten, and the rest of his life would have played out as if the confrontation had never happened. But no. His college prospects are now looking a lot more dim, unless he’s got his sights set on Liberty University, and his future job prospects are taking a hit, unless he’s shooting for a position with FoxNews.

None of that would matter, of course, if he was headed for a multi-million dollar payout. But I don’t think I’d bet my future on that.

This one has come to the grift early.

Grade school grifters?! What’s next?

Just stop it. These are suits without merit, filed only to make headlines. I think his lawyers and mother believe he as sufficient nuisance value that they can extract money with this game, a game that started with the damages-seeking youngster’s own douche behavior.

Hopefully they all pay for it. I have no sympathy for this little turd and his parents.

Seems likely his list of prospects still consists of just Legacy University.

Nick Sandmann and his family filed a $275 million lawsuit against NBC Universal, alleging that it defamed Sandmann

The Sandmann family got to keep itself in the news, lest we forget all about young Nick (like I did until this morning) - otherwise there is nothing to defame, making it harder to come by a big payday.

Yep. They’re hurting their kid badly. They’re teaching a teenage boy that bullying, racism, and hate should not only be praised and celebrated, but rewarded and compensated. At a time when kids already feel six foot tall and bulletproof, they’re teaching theirs that there are no consequences for his abhorrent behavior. Add a vehicle, add alcohol, and maybe a teenage girl or two, and I’ll be shocked if he makes it to his 21st birthday and without spending some time in jail.

I’ll be shocked if he makes it out of college with all his teeth still in his mouth…

Billion Dollar Baby! I have a feeling that all the adults who are taking advantage of this kid are going to completely warp his personality. The lawyers, the pols, the parents, the teachers…they’re all betraying this kid.

The ‘Grift’ is all the rage! So many seasoned grifters to aspire to young Nick, starting with mom and dad and working all the way up to POTUS. You’re in good hands.

HAHAHAHA Shit, I’ll be shocked if it makes it through the first away game at Holmes (predominantly black school just a few miles away from CovCath).

"For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows." (1 Timothy 6:10, KJV)

Lawsuits should not be reported this way: “Man sues for $800 billion!!!” A plaintiff can stick any figure he likes into the suit. A $275 million lawsuit is NOT bigger than a $15,000 lawsuit.
