Discussion: In September, Moore Said The Last Time America Was Great Was During Slavery

In September, Moore said that the last time he considered America to be “great” was when slavery existed.

That was also before Women got the right to vote wasn’t it? That pretty much killed off any hope for righteousness.

And of course if you asked his voters they’d say at least he’s not a politician who just tells you what you want to hear, he says what he’s really thinking, and maybe things were better in some ways back in the good old days I’m not saying we should bring black slavery but nothing’s all one way or the other, you know?

In other news, after this message we’ll hear how black turnout is considered crucial to the race.

Lunacy, sheer lunacy, and Republicans will have a lot of “splainin’” to do if this kook is elected and spouts such bull shit.

Not surprising at all, one more reason to be skeptical that AL voters will do the right thing next week. That statement was ‘red meat’ for his alt-right base.

They won’t be given the day off and even if they had the day off their nearest polling place is hundreds of miles away.

“The Good Old Days” in Roy Moore’s Mind

I know. All I can say is when Pennsylvania tried to change its ID laws in an obvious effort to depress the minority vote, the black voters instantly organized to get people IDs. They didn’t think it was funny at all. I’m going to assume and hope the feeling and infrastructure’s the same in AL.

“I think it was great at the time when families were united…”
Well, except for the families that could be sold apart .

In addition to being a pedophile Moore is an unabashed believer is slavery. Does he live in this century?

Only physically.

Mentally I’d say early-modern period or before. All he really wants to do is burn witches.

He doesn’t know how lucky he is. He’d be seriously overmatched.

I recently watched a TV show describing Thomas Jefferson’s relationship with Sally Hemings. It seems Sally was 1/2 sister of Jefferson’s wife who died. She was mostly white and looked a lot like her late sister. She could easily pass as white, as did her kids with Jefferson. Visitors to Monticello were surprised that the household servants (Hemings children) looked like Jefferson. The only slaves Jefferson ever freed were Sally’s children. I am sure that Jefferson thought he was a good family man. After all he freed his children. Of course, he didn’t actually marry his bed partner, but he didn’t beat her much either.

Moore would fit right in with that society, except I am not sure he would have freed his children.

Methinks what he REALLY wants is for all women, witch or non-witchy, to wear 'Murican made, KKK approved, burkas.

Because nothing spells greatness like human bondage.

At least for regressive, knuckledragging racists.
