Discussion: In Rare Rebuke, Grassley Scolds Trump For Bad-Mouthing Kelly

Little Donnie has been “bad-mouthing” military leaders much less deserving of criticism than Kelly for a very long time. Chuck Grassley is a fool

What if, crazy idea here, what if President Trump attempted to talk about all Americans in a respectful and adult tone, not just the ones who work for him or the ones on his “team”?

Except to the extent it compromises national security and gives insights to our enemies, I’m actually perfectly fine with Trump expressing his grounded, fact-informed, rational frustrations and concerns with his Chief of Staff. I don’t demand it, but I’m fine with it. But try to comport yourself with at least one tenth the dignity the office once demanded.

“Look, Chuck. Shut up, vote as you’re told, and you won’t get hurt.”

Chuckie boy, we’re long past the point where respect for an office or role matters much. You and all your punk GOP colleagues could have been publicly and privately overseeing and reining in this sociopathic, sadistic infant all this time. The implicit deal your voters made was that you would, in fact, do so. You never did, you mushmouthed putty-brained traitor. So don’t scold the one person who has no control over himself and doesn’t know better. And Happy Thanksgiving, you piece of trash.

So why is Grassley only concerned about a retired general being treated with respect? All persons need to be treated with respect - migrants seeking a better life, Congress persons that have a different view, workers that have been sort changed, those of a different faith, teachers, etc.

Senator Grassley, I wish the president would quite bad-mouthing all the ex-service people who happen to be democrats, environmentalists, Latino and so on. Kelly’s 47 years of service did not stand in the way when he decided to support a traitor owned and operated by the Russians.

Trump’s deplorables love him and will follow his idiot tariffs and walls into the maws of Hell, but for people like Grassley, it’s just business.

Ironically, this is the part of the process/system Trump should understand most, but he doesn’t understand it at all, because he is A Idiot.

If they give him a big parade maybe he’ll take it easier on them. might go to ceremonies honoring the fallen and maybe even visit them in the field…hey but I wouldn’t hold your breath on any of that!

Chucky must be on his way out if he is making a statement like that. Just hoping, I guess.

I love these guys. Not a single one of them has not campaigned on “I stood up to this president.” Not one. But when the time comes to put their money where their mouths are, they fold up like a cheap card table.

Criticism of Gen. Kelly it too much, but trashing Adm. McRaven is A-OK, right Chuck?

Grassley knows that a military junta is really running the country and that this kind of tsk-tsking is acceptable.

What military junta?
