Discussion: In Extremely Tense Interview, Cuomo And Sanders Battle Over Honesty, Credibility

She’s complaining that going on CNN shows her credibility, because she’s going into a ‘hostile place’? I guess she should stay with Breitbart and Gateway Pundit.

Cuomo finally conceded, saying that he thinks it damages her reputation as press secretary that she won’t address her own statement that has been proven false. “I wanted to give you a lot of chances at it, because I think it matters,” he said. “I think it hurts your credibility. I think it hurts the dynamic. But I gave you the opportunities, you made of them what you wanted, all right?”

He was fighting for her honor — which is more than she ever did.

Talking to her would be like describing a one ended stick.

She out-Zieglers Ziegler.

Yes, in the Trumpian mind NOT answering the question can later be called answering the question.

I must say, Sarah looks pretty snazzy in that Pillsbury Flour sack dress.

She’s no C.J. Clegg

More and more, when reading headlines with the name “Sanders” and an implied negative, I can’t tell if it’s going to be about Sarah or Bernie.

Sanders quickly retorted. “I’m very comfortable with my credibility and the fact that I think by sitting here right now and taking questions from you shows the type of person I am, shows my effort to provide information,” she said.

By not answering questions.

“And frankly, to be in an environment that’s not exactly friendly, that’s not exactly one that I think a lot of people in my position would come and sit in.

Not FOX.

"And I think that speaks a lot to my credibility.”

Thought you might, yes.

Not clear from this statement that she knows what the word means.

Which, come to think of it, might explain a lot.

Nope. it speaks to your duplicity. You get to go on CNN, say that you were slandered, treated unfairly, blah, blah, blah, then go on Fox and say you’re the victim.

It serves Cuomo and CNN right for putting this carnival act on their network.

This woman lies for a living. Her job is to twist facts and play the victim. This is something that is encouraged by her boss and encouraged by those that support her. Expecting anything else from her is foolish. I get that this makes good TV for these networks but in the long run this is normalizing this combative and misleading behavior more and more.

And at this point I don’t know if there is anything that can fix it.

Carnival barkers have more credibility than Sanders. More warmth and humanity too.

What is Sanders’ current position on the memo? Did Trump dictate it? Yes, or no?

I said Sanders was a carnival act. Wolf Blitzer is a carnival barker.
