Well, natural selection weeds out maladaptions. But while what Trump has on his head serves no adaptive purpose, it hasn’t stopped him from reproducing, so its genes are passed on.

There’s no mention of Lucy begetting people 6000 years ago in Genesis. So heads will not explode.
He didn’t have to. He’s trolling the birthers AND the “the Earth is only 6000 years old” Bible-thumpers. There’s no way that’s by accident.

I think you’re reading too much into it if you think Obama is trolling. Not that I think it’s a big deal. I just think Obama viewing Lucy doesn’t have to be belittled by making it a political event.
