It is part of Trump’s job creation program. I imagine every ambulance chaser in the US is licking their chops and booking rentals in DC.

  1. In GOPland somewhat, and in Trumpland especially, conclusions beget facts.

Few people knew the young, low level volunteer named George,

He didn’t even try to spell the last name, did he. And we’re to believe there was no collusion because Paul Manaforts (sic) lawyer said so?

Hilarious.

What an effing moron.

Collins has laid down her demands for tax cuts:

  1. No cuts for millionaires.
  2. Estate tax remains.

Unlike Corker and Flake, she’s an effective negotiator because she has a constituency, spells out her position on policy rather than rhetoric, and doesn’t get flipped by morons like Pence.

The best part and the one I’m waiting for, will be when Trump tweet-disowns himself: “Low-level know-nothing hack Trump? NEVER HEARD OF HIM!”

Shorter Trump: I am scared that I don’t know who all are wired in the WH.

Early on in his obviously entirely successful quest to achieve unconditional self-love, Donald had to establish some characteristics that, to him, defined perfection. First among these was Liarness. Cowardice, Pretense, Ego Unintelligibility and the others came later.

The excellent liar is Trump himself.

You’ve probably heard it but Dennis Gartman said months ago–long before Mueller–that Trump would resign the presidency. Paraphrasing Harry Truman’s remark about Ike’s coming frustrations, he said Trump was used to people doing exactly what he wanted, and that in Washington this doesn’t work.

Sure. Because low-level volunteers always lie to the FBI to protect the secrets nobody ever shared with them.

Well, to be fair, sometimes circumstances cause people to change their opinions of other people. In 2016 I called Kevin Spacey a great actor. Today I call him a sexual predator…

Agreed. I’ve thought for a long time that this would end with Trump resigning, probably in exchange for some measure of immunity from future prosecution.

All this lamestream media bashing him for not remembering Sgt. La David Johnson’s first name, now he remembers George Padadadapolis’s first name and there’s so much hate! Sad!

have fun in jail, loser

What Ma Hamhock has done in her version of a press briefing is pretty disgusting as well. It’s turned into a forum to put out admin talking points including throwing out charges against Clinton and collusion. She’s become a master of deflecting reporters’ questions and taking what they say and turning into an opportunity to promote the oligarch in charge. From that standpoint she’s brilliant. From another standpoint she’s a lying sack of shit put out every day to keep the lies alive.

Trump just can’t stop himself from acting guilty as hell every day of the week. Forget dignified. Forget presidential. He is acting like a TV or movie mobster. A dumb, sociopathic TV or movie mobster.

Final paragraph of NYT editorial asking Is The White House Scared Yet?

Mr. Manafort, embodies the sort of amoral, self-dealing denizen of the swamp that Mr. Trump pledged to drain when he got to Washington. What the president did not anticipate was that Mr. Mueller would be the one doing the draining.
