What’s the backstory here? The GOP doesn’t care about corruption so, these impeachments are obviously politically motivated. Who are these judges and why does the GOP want them out of office?
the humanitarian in me thinks that we should never require public servants to eat at mcdonalds or wendys.

She has been impeached and is being tried for overspending when there were no guidelines. Based on what’s in this story and her responses, the proper punishment should have been a requirement to pay back some of the costs and some sort of rap on the knuckles by the judicial ethics commission if there is one.
Compare and contrast: Donald Trump’s expenditures for weekend trips to his properties, using his office to advance his business interests, and various other abuses of office for monetary gain. Notice the Rethuglicans rushing to impeach him.
If you’re lawfully eating on the taxpayer’s dime, even in West Virginia, $17 with tax and tip is not exactly living large. That’s basically a chain entree and a drink.
