I’m not a fan of the mayor’s, but I haven’t seen enough evidence to suggest a direct correlation between what he’s done and what the police did.
He had taken action, albeit much too late.
Given Chicago’s history as a Democrat stronghold, this will be interesting.
Is the Machine finally dead – or even vulnerable – after a century?

There should a mechanism whereby an egregious mistake may be rectified — It needs be a challenging maneuver, however, to limit “knee jerk” and petty reactions from simpletons —
