The Rep gets credit for holding the town-hall and facing his constituents. Most are refusing to do this.

Remaining polite and orderly is important. Let him/her speak even if you don’t like the answer. It’s too easy for Republicans to dismiss rowdy crowds as provocateurs unrepresentative of their constituents as a whole.

But crowds have the right to demand their questions be answered and members to explain themselves. For instance, who exactly is getting ‘crushed’ and in what way are they getting ‘crushed’ by the ACA? Members who shout platitudes and talking points at a crowd and flee out the back door get what they deserve.,

It’s hard to feel sorry for them. They voted for a wrecking ball because it felt good and now they want that ball to build something. They voted to “blow the place up”. They voted against the “elites” and “political correctness”. Against the evil Obama and socialism. They didn’t vote FOR anything. They have all that and guess what? There’s not one fucking thing it it for them. The asshole they voted for gets 175 K a year of their money and boundless benefits to boot. They gave him Cadillac health care and lusted for him to take it away from them.

[/quote]Agreed, one thousand times. The TGOP now has control of the executive and legislative branches of national government, as well as a majority of governorships and state legislatures. They no longer get to blame everything on Obama. We need to RESIST at every turn, and hold them accountable. No mercy.

The only local Congressman who is coming home is Pete Sessions, who is having a meeting tonight that isn’t a town hall, he’s speaking at the Museum of Biblical Arts, naturally.

And my senators are evil - Cornyn and Cruz, as evil as it gets.

(sorry I corrected his first name. Not my rep and I get confused between Jeff Sessions and Phil Gramm. hahahaha)

I think we need to keep this up in every district across the country, no matter how red. Congresscritters need to realize that there is a price to pay for being a dick.
