He has NEVER talked to college students, and the vast majority of college age Americans dare not ask for ANYTHING except perhaps lower than usurious interest rates on their obscene student loans! Intergenerational altruism may feel harder for older people who have been sliding backwards themselves, but really, if the olds want to have it a bit easier they should put tuition-free university at the top of their wish list. That’s about the most straightforward way to raise the economic complexity index (diversity and sophistication of products and services), and thus export earnings and the overall size of the economy.

Which tends to happen to folks who are much larger than their natural body frame. If he’d skimped more on the grits and gravy, perhaps he’d have been able to get himself killed in a foreign land.
I am not fat-shaming here. I know a good number of people who are large–some obese–for many reasons, some medical at the root. Mr. Huckabee is not diabetic, to my knowledge, nor does he have an under-active thyroid, etc., that might help explain why he is large. He is fat by choice. Therefore, Mr. Huckabee’s flat feet excuse for not voluntarily securing his own damned freedom is … by choice.
