Good Ole People

I have to admire Hucksterbee’s grifting skills.

He’s been pulling this crap for over 20 years yet the cash just keeps rolling in.

Never mind this goofball. Did anybody at Fox Not the News fuck up with an ax today?

Of course he did. That’s his base.

Council of Concerned Citizens or Klavern of Klu Kluxers?

It’s OK. He had no idea who they were or what they stood for. He speaks to many, many, groups, is very busy, and can’t be expected to know anything about the assholes who pay him to speak.

Huckabee is defined by the company he keeps.

“I will not share the stage or platform with someone who thinks the Holocaust didn’t happen,” Huckabee said at the time, as quoted by The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.

This is a very telling comment. He (rightly) thinks that denying the Holocaust is beyond the pale, but clearly thinks advocating white supremacy in fact constitutes acceptable, legitimate discourse. Otherwise he wouldn’t speak to the group according to his own explicitly stated standards.

"sent an audio/video presentation

The infamous condom for cowardly politicians engaging in naughty political coitus. Hope they have a king-size sheet for Mike.

…and Mike Huck-A-Buck wasn’t even a national contender at that point…

Look. BOTH parties are guilty. Just look at all the fringe groups on the left that harbor violent racists … (false equivalency disappears in a POOF of logic)

“Look, I’m not a historian!” – Mike Huckabee explaining why he should not have to comment on:

–The Confederate Flag flying over the state capitol in South Carolina.
–The Civil War.
–The firing on Ft. Sumter that started the Civil War.
–Slavery.
–Racisim.
–Jim Crow laws.
–Civil Rights.
–The history of the UNITED States.
–The reason for the Civil War.
–Southerners who remain loyal to the Confederacy and want to destroy the U.S. federal government.
–Reconstruction.
–Whether state should be allowed to secede.
–The Pledge of Allegiance and which flag it applies to.
–The crime of murder.
–Why the 2nd amendment calls for a “well regulated militia.”
–Black voter suppression.
–Politics.

Let’s keep those Hits (to the TeaBaggs and their notion that they are simply “concerned citizens” instead of flat-out racists) coming.

It’s not like the songwriters (the racists) have any shortage of material.

Or a shortage of intertwined Republican politicians.
