Case or Controversy Clause. The federal court system doesn’t give advisory rulings, doesn’t rule on unripe cases, doesn’t rule on moot cases. Arguably, there’s a benefit in being able to do so, which is why many countries have constitutional courts that pass judgement on laws before they’re enacted, but the US is not one of those countries.

Why should HE go to court. No one that matters has said he is not eligible. If your simpleton mind thinks he is not eligible, YOU sue and make an ass of yourself.
Huck, Christie and Trump know they have Cruz by his Canadian-born tail. They are going to continually swing him around like a dirty dish rag just to see him squirm as he watches his chances of winning the nomination diminish to nothing over this Constitutional question.
Insulting the people of New York after we all bonded together so closely after 911 isn’t going to work either.
As a less than natural born American, Ted just doesn’t understand our national politics or what it means to be a true American. He proved it with that New York values jab. Cruz might be able to fool Texans who still considers their state as its own nation, but he’s going to get nowhere defending his birth in Calgary to national voters.
Trump has Cruz caught between a dual Canadian citizenship and a less than patriotic response to 911. Ted is Texas toast.
Because at least one of those on that stage tonight will take him to court at some point to finish him off in the primaries for good. It’s going to happen. Litigation is the Trump way of wearing down opponents till they quit or run out of money.
I don’t see it happening. This is not private sector where he can crush a person. He stands no chance of winning such a case.
