ā¦donāt pretend that somehow all of the voters who have gone out and voted for [Trump] are stupid. They are not stupid.
yes they are.
All of the above. The voters, sadly, are dumber than bricks. The GOP establishment is a major effing problem. And the candidates running against Drumpfenstein are extreme and weak. Can you say ākarmaā?
Love that people are going down to Trumpās level of discourse. Huck was always mean as a snake but now itās more apparent.
Look, I just believe that at some point we need to recognize if you want
to oppose Donald Trump, do it, but donāt pretend that somehow all of
the voters who have gone out and voted for him are stupid.
Whoās pretending?
Huckabee is right. The Republicans have had a strong, talented and diverse field consisting of several governors, several senators, religulous fundamentalists, a medical professional, two CEOs and a Bush. The voters have been listening and voting. Too bad the corporate kleptocrats and vampire squid are not able to rig the vote.
What is this fascination these right-wingers have with pee? Little Marco made a pissing his pants joke a few days ago about Trump. Is David Vitter writing their talking points?
Not for lack of trying.
āā¦but donāt pretend that somehow all of the voters who have gone out and voted for him are stupid. They are not stupid.ā
Unlike those millions of voters who cast a ballot for Barack Obama. Those people are stupid, right, Huck?
Huck: GOP Establishment āBed-Wettingā
Get back to us when it rises to sister-diddling Gov.

I am definitely planting popcorn this spring. I fear a shortage.
I canāt believe Iām saying this, but I agree with Huckster.
If the people in your party vote a certain way - no matter how stupid they may be - you canāt by fiat overrule their decision.
Due to their own mismanagement, theyāve accustomed their base to getting what they want like some spoiled child. If they try to enforce some discipline now, youāll get a version of a three year old throwing a major league temper tantrum in the cereal aisle.
Remember when he was a huge conservative but also kind of funny in a folksy way and he played the bass and all that? You know, there was stuff that made you wonder if he wasnāt totally awful? Now heās just a contemptible poisonous toad, no more need to think thereās any more to him than that.
TO HUCK, WELCOME TO OUR WORLD.
And we thought it couldnāt get any worse.
They did rig it ā or thought they were rigging it ā but didnāt realize who would be able to take advantage of their efforts at rigging. Part of the reason they rigged it was denial over why they lost in 2012 (which had nothing to do with a contested primary). If you think about it, proportional award of delegates during a primary is much fairer and likely to produce a more rational result than winner take all rules that are rapidly giving the Republican party a majority of delegates without a majority of the vote.
The VS rigged the system to their advantage but could not manipulate the voters on primary day.
Drumpf voters are really into his dystopian view of the world, imminent invasion of Mexican and Muslims, women running loose while bleeding, but the yet the image of a good number of repubs all peeing at one time is equally disturbing.
ābut donāt pretend that somehow all of the voters who have gone out and voted for him are stupid. They are not stupid.ā
Just poorly-educated, as the GOP intended.
Now he has become a professional media personality, just as Sarah Palin. Which means he needs to stay in front of cameras, he needs to be invited on Fox News (and get paid), he needs to be an unctuous jerk. Itās about staying alive, professionally. Not gonna happen with his old Gomer Pyle routine.
Huckabee I have long thought to be the most potentially dangerous of the 2016 field if he could actually get in office, though it may be just my special hatred for his rapist-enabling. Thankfully, heās never been a credible candidate, but as youāve saidā¦ his nastiness becomes more apparent with Trump enabling him.
