Howard is not helping Hillary with comments like this. Much as it may be fun to contemplate Drumpf trying to bolster his debate courage with a snort or two, that is wild speculation of a sort that the Drumpf campaign is famous for and only damages the Clinton campaign.
It’s not really fair–people also snort heroin and bath salts.
That was my first thought at the beginning of the debate. And in my family a number of us have nasal allergies and we never sniff that loudly.
I fail to see what is “bizarre” about the suggestion. It crossed my mind half-way through, and was the farthest thing from my mind at the start of the debate. And it wasn’t just the sniffling, which I barely noticed. It was his entire demeanor, which slipped into smug flailing as the debate wore on.
The only time I’ve witnessed that type of bizarre juxtaposition of behavior is when in the presence of individuals clearly on something. So I find it an entirely reasonable question to raise.
Dean isn’t the only one asking that question. Many, many people are asking it. It could be an issue. We don’t know. But many people are asking about it. And it is disgraceful if true. Very, very disgraceful.

I do not think our side should be sinking to their level. On the other hand, I am really curious as to whether Sean Spicer has ever seen Dr. Keith Ablow hold forth on Fox.

Please. It’s ragweed season. People have noticed Trump being a wacko narcissist for many decades. I don’t remember much talk of sniffling over the years.
I actually posted it on FB. He looked like he’d done several rails of booger sugar. His tone, demeanor, the sniffing, etc. it was all classic cokehead behavior.
I’m sure he did it because of, on some level, how much he loves America.
Obviously this is why he is hiding his tax returns – it shows his drug purchases!
Dean should STFU. Hillary had a good night. All this can cause is problems for Dems. Someone needs to kidnap him and lock him away in an abandoned silver mine in Montana for 40 days.

Trump is, of course, a famous teetotaler who says he’s never touched alcohol, cigarettes, or even coffee since his brother Fred Jr. died of alcoholism in 1981.

I respectfully disagree. If you’re being bullied, you push back–and Dean is quite right to do so, his unstated point being that if Hillary is going to be inappropriately scrutinized at any point in the future about her health, the same will apply to Trump. You can’t have one rule for him and one rule for her. Democrats have accepted that shit for far too long, and it’s cost us big time. Notice how in the debate Trump didn’t dare open his mouth about the Clinton Foundation, yet another example of the bogus sticks with which Clinton is beaten. Why didn’t he? Because that would open the door to a response about the Trump Foundation. (And by the way, the Foundation is one weapon that she still has up her sleeve for the next debate.)
