I’ve been following this LePage stuff for two reasons:

  1. it’s very funny
  2. I have 10 bucks that says he pulls the mask off and he’s really Newt Gingrich

I’m planning to move up there in the next few months. I look forward the political madness.

I’m surprised there’s no mention here that the charter school investigation led to impeachment talk just a month ago:

LePage needs to change his name to Dick Tater.

I call this the “Insult-Comic-In-Chief” model of government, and it’s nice preview of what (God forbid) The Rump Administration would look like. Fail, fail and more fail, because he’s offended so many people. Even his best friends and allies would rather devise a workaround or an end run than work with the guy.

“If anything he helped develop our relationship between my leadership and the Democratic senate leadership,” state Sen. Thomas B. Saviello ® told TPM

This shows that, unlike B. HUSSEIN Obama, Governor LePage is a uniter, not a divider. The Congress should impeach that Lie-beral, weak/feckless Race-Baiter-in-Chief tyrant, and leave that upstanding Canadian American (no, not Cruz) Governor LePage alooooooone.

(Eustace, you with me on this one? Sorry for not switching between upper and lower case, I’m too lazy.)

But one significant difference is that the Gov has lost support of his own party members. Pres Obama, not so.

LePage had argued that that his reelection – which he won by a nearly 5 percent margin – was an endorsement of his agenda.

LePage has a valid point. Voters returned him to office. You get the representation you deserve. You certainly get the representation you vote into office. It's a sure bet many of the GOP reps now complaining about LePage actively supported and campaigned for him in the last Guv election. You pissed in your porridge, here's a spoon. Bon appetit.

That’s because all them Lie-berals (like Joe Manchin) are traitors.

Seeing this incompetent, bullying blowhard try to be a governor is a preview of what President T-Rump would be like trying to govern the U.S.

About what? The Usurper-in-Chief? Or that Jeebus’s hand-picked candidate (basically, any Republican) is a uniter? Or what?

Shorter me: you’re new around here, right?

Donald Trumps running mate?

I can see it now:

“You’re fired!”

“Screw that, I’m vetoing your firing of me. In 11 days.”

As vile a person as Trump is, I think he’d probably do a better job than LePage. Which is kinda like saying he’d be smarter than W or John Ellis “I’se the Smart One, right Ma?” Bush.

Le Page won by 5% in a THREE way race. An Independent, Cutler, split the Democratic vote with the Democratic candidate. If Cutler dropped out, the race would easily have gone to the Democrat, Michaud.
