This article didn’t use the word “occupation” once, but does manage to subtly equate Palestinian resistance with “terrorism”. It isn’t much better than what you get on cable news, just without the hyperventilating Israeli spokesman.

I agree. This is an occupation and Israel is committing apartheid. It is a very difficult situation and I don;t believe there will ever be peace between Israel and the Palestinians. Both are too entrenched in their beliefs and Israel will never give up land

I believe Abbas from the Fatah organization is head of the Palestinian Authority which governs the West Bank.

Hamas won the election for control of Gaza.

Except Israel has given up land, including the Sinai Peninsula, Northern Lebanon and Gaza. That hasn’t worked so well… so they are hesitant to do it again.
