I will say again the things that I most despise about Chump. Sure, there is the treachery and destruction and utter contempt for humanity, the looting of our treasury. But what really galls me is we granted him a position and he uses it to taint and tarnish all of America at every level.
He and now his minions continually call everything else a âdisgraceâ and âdisasterâ when those are provinces they wholly own.
Call others traitors.
Calls heroes cowards. Demeans the dead. Antagonizes the families of the dead, including Gold Star parents.
Calls others criminals.
Calls others liars.
He now sits atop our criminal and law enforcement arms and gets to âcallâ the shots of organizations which should be solely focused on hunting him down and taking everything he owns and laying him bare to the world for being the biggest liar, hypocrite, and most despicable american we ever produced.
I understand the damage he is doing physically and institutionallyâŚbut to me the most demoralizing (in every sense of the word) is the damage he is doing to our very souls and discourse and our horizons and aspirations.
Dems need to put Barr in a tough spot today. Sure, ask about the contents of the report and redactions and whatnot, but someone needs to ask him if he agrees with the President and his mouthpieces that the report is fraudulent, the investigation a witch hunt, and whether Mueller and his team have been unprofessional and treasonous. Make him choose between Trump and Mueller. The ramifications of choosing one side over the other could be profound.

In theory, perhaps, but listening to the first few questioners, the committee members donât seem to agree with you. These hearings are typically about whatever the questioners want them to be about.
Thanks to Trump, the release of the Mueller report will go from an expected anti-climax to a highly anticipated event. And thanks to Trump, it wonât stop there, because everyone will assume that the redactions contain the really damaging stuffâŚ
Donald J. Trump is an emotional mess. Itâs really quite that simple.
Iâm sure he considers the Democratsâ questioning of Barr about the report to be disgusting and treasonous, too. As is Muellerâs even investigating and writing the report.
Trump has, with the help of clueless media talking heads, normalized the most deranged behavior of any president in history. It shows how pointless it is to ever think something is âgoing too farâ when it comes to presidential power and the stenographers at news orgs. Trump has so destroyed anything remotely akin to civility, ethics, the rule of law, and the press just rolls with it knowing that thereâs really nothing that the public can do until 2020. Pelosi has already promised not to impeach his criminal ass and itâs emboldened him even more. Our great nation will take decades to recover from this cancer in the White House, but now the bar is so low that any president will know anything goes when it comes to brazen crimes and unethical behavior.

I donât doubt that he has been almost completely plugged in to this the whole time. Between AGâs reporting to him, his ability to be briefed on ANY intelligence, backdoor pardon dangling, joint defense agreements, and now crooked AGâs licking his bootsâŚI am sure he knows more than anybody except Mueller and the AG.
The issue is âFACTâ versus âLAWâ.
Muellerâs job was to answer questions of law. In doing so he had to unearth facts including Trump and Putin sharing polling dataâŚ
FACT, if two organizations are sharing polling data then those two organizations are colluding.
So well it may not be a crime, as an issue of FACT, there is no doubt Trump was colluding with the Russians.

Tell me that a guy who grievance tweets like this - is someone who would be under audit for âmore than ten years by the IRSâ who never grievance tweets about that, and indeed never mentioned it until the election as an excuse for not making his tax returns public. Never bitched and moaned about it. Ever. Never claimed victim-hood at the hands of an easy target like the IRS in any speech, rally, interview, etc.
