Keep it up Harry.

Obviously Harry Reid has some deep rooted mental issues, he sees the Kochs brothers everywhere.

I wonder if Schumer or Durbin will challenge Reid for minority leader next year. You can’t rule out Boxer or Reed either.

Looks like Sahil is attracting some right winger Fox-fed readers who like his writing…that seems…

Here’s how Sahil makes EVERYTHING about Harry Reid:

…

[do lexis-nexis search and insert every Kapur story that references Harry Reid here]

The Koch brother are making everything about themselves in the first place by financing political campaigns that will benefit them and no one else. Harry’s right. Everything is about the Koch’s. They have injected themselves into even small local campaigns, including funding for a city zoo.

If they can do it, why not Harry too? Keep at them Harry, but be ready to prove what you say. Eventually the message will sink in more broadly.

The Koch brothers should’ve served hard time for that Billy Ray Valentine fiasco. They ruined Louis Winthorpe’s life for a measly $1 bet and still beat the rap! Rich man’s justice…

Jesus screaming christ on a whole wheat cracker.

If you don’t get that everything is about the Kochs, you have no business writing for a left of center political blog. Democracy is dying before our fucking eyes. We are sliding toward oligarchy.

Every major political trend since 1980 has been pushing us toward oligarchy: the destruction of unions, the gutting of campaign finance laws, the buggering of the tax system to render it regressive rather than progressive and the gutting of inheritance taxes, abandonment of antitrust enforcement, failure to enforce existing financial regulations, the repeal of Glass-Stengal, a major rewrite of the bankruptcy law to drastically tilt it into creditors favor, the use of free trade agreements to beat down American wages rather than increase export opportunities. And now, here in the end game, a direct frontal assault on democracy through “anti-voter fraud” laws that restrict early voting, impose financial burdens and still wilder talk of reversion to 19th century property requirements and repeal of the 16th Amendment.

The Kochs are, by their own choice and designation, the faces of the forces of oligarchy. Reid links people to them because he wants them to get that this is the single most important issue facing the nation, this single greatest threat to democracy in this country since the 1950s. .

Maybe if you’re in your twenties, and inclined to believe that things have always been much as they are now because that’s all you’ve known, you can smirk knowingly at Reid’s demagoguery. But for those of us old enough to know better, we see that he’s using the Kochs to try to get people to see that we’re headed past the point where democracy can save itself in this country.

Maybe if Sahil and his brethren “journalists” did their job, Harry Reid wouldn’t have to do it for you…
