Rep. Bobby Rush (D-IL), a member of the Congressional Black Caucus, voted against it, saying he wanted a vote on his own proposed censure of King — a harsher response.
<small?*items in italics will not be remembered.
King himself voted for the resolution.
NOT FAIR ! ……
The resolution wasn’t arousing enough to get him to
pop out of the foreskin —
I’m sure the Reps would have speedily introduced a similar resolution has they still been in charge of the house - ha!
A punishment so light that the guilty party is willing to impose it on himself hardly seems like much of a punishment at all. But even lip service in this regard is a step back toward normality, so—yay?
So, about that guy in the White House…
I wonder if this is a kind of test run for impeachment resolutions. Add up what the house intelligence and oversight committees catalogue plus the Mueller report plus a resolution condemning Trumps ties to white nationalism and other threats to the republic.
"The House of Representatives on Tuesday voted 424-1 in favor of a resolution “rejecting white nationalism and white supremacy.”

[/quote]Meh.
I’m trying to figure out who didn’t vote. It’s 435 voting members, right?
Found this at clerk.house.gov. Don’t know if they were absent or just walking around or what.
Senselessbummer was against it but instinctively didn’t vote, I would guess.
Probably just out getting some hamberders, etc.
I think Congressman Rush should have simply abstained, but I see the point he was making. Baby steps, sir, baby steps.
Thank you…
In other breaking news: Water is wet.
Can the same happen to Mr Dumbo as he*s the White Supremacists Dear Leader ?
Sure, but what was the vote on the resolution in favor of Mom and Apple Pie?
