LMAO Wasn’t it just Friday night/Saturday morning that the “Speaker” said that he would not offer a clean funding bill this week? LOL How can someone so horrible at their job keep their job. #Failed Leadership

The question becomes: Will Issa launch an investigation into why his Party threatened our national security?

Of COURSE there is “No Plan” to unseat Boehner. The Tea-Publicans have NO PLAN for ANYTHING.
It’s just one hissy-fit after another, lurching from one freak-out to the next in a frantic attempt to keep their low-information voters reeling without time to figure out how they are being rolled.

Dear. Rep. Fleming (R-LA),

You don’t know what the $%^# you’re talking about and are an embarrassment to representative democracy. Also, please note the definition of “unconstitutional” is not “things conservatives don’t like.”

I don’t know which Republican statement sounds more like it came from an article in The Onion. Perhaps it is the one above. Republicans actually recognize the rest of the world’s reality? Certainly that is satire.

The question now is will this move embolden Boehner to actually get things done. If he plays his cards right he can probably pass real legislation that will pass the Senate with 60 votes and be signed by the President. Of course, drafting real legislation, conservative or otherwise, has been a difficult chore for conservatives the last few years.

A lotta sore poop shoots over there in the house today … Tee hee hee.

Funny how some of the non-crazy from the GOPers comes from my state’s only GOP Representative (out of five seats our state has). Walden at least has a survival instinct. Unlike the teahadists on their political suicide vest fashion plates.

Every “NO” vote on this bill was cast by a Republican. Dems and other progressives need to start campaigns against each and every one of them, asking the voters in their respective districts why they voted against the security of the United States. The belong to a house of shame, and every effort should be made to hold them accountable in 2016.

Absolutely. Every republican no vote was a vote to put their political posturing above the security of the nation and of Americans. In other words, if they can’t get their political way it’s OK if Americans die.

There is no plan because no one (not even the crazies) wants the Speakers job. Especially now that Cantor is gone.

Yes. Obama has repeatedly told the Republicans that if they don’t like his executive order, they can pass immigration reform. (Read: They can try their hand at governing, seeing as grandstanding hasn’t proven to be an effective legislative strategy.)

Does anyone think they’ll learn NOT to take a hostage – they’re NOT prepared to shoot?
