Oh, this is gonna be great!!!

As much as the GOP wants to call BS on the dossier, let’s question a whole bunch of folks connected to it who can verify its authenticity.

The GOP may get a whole lot more than they bargained for with this one.

I have a great idea, guys! Let’s put sustained attention on what once seemed like a far-fetched account of the president, but which now seems like the very soul of prescience as more of it is confirmed all the time! Literally nothing could go wrong!

Don’t forget the bosses at the Washington Free Beacon and its funders!
Or are they only looking to smear Democrats involved after the Republicans dropped it and GPS needed a new client?

Please! Call them all. Put it all on the record. ALL.

Because this worked so well with Peter Strzok. Seriously, if these guys actually believe this will do their cause any good, they’re descending into magical thinking.

If they were in day care, they’d be forced to wear helmets.

First thought, don’t forget the popcorn…

Streisand Effect

Bob, please. You don’t even have to look it up - have one of your interns explain it to you.

You know Bob it could get really hot in here if we start investigating the spouses of sitting Congresscritters, Supreme Court Justices, and Heads of Agencies. Now wouldn’t that be fun in August, in D.C.?

So is this defense or revenge?

If critical thinking was their forte they wouldn’t be in this mess in the first place.

I think this is now a “Fire as ye guns bear” situation for House Republicans.

O.J. should hire these geniuses to find “the real killers.”

I keep reminding myself, just a few more months.

Rep. Bob Goodlatte (R-VA), chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, is preparing subpoenas for those connected to the infamous Steele dossier

Is it a cunning plan?

Yes, it’s as cunning as a fox who’s just been appointed Professor of Cunning at Oxford University.

Not really. Notice that it’s for interviews, not a public hearing. The GOP will get exactly what it wants from this: transcripts it can cherry-pick for out of context quotes and information to send over to Faux News while Goodlatte abuses his power to refuse release of the entire transcript.

These goofballs don’t realize that the story is moving faster than they are. This is something they might have done last year, but now it is just old news.
