Why do TPM and the rest of the media continue to say building the wall will fulfill a promise to Trump’s base? The promise was to build the wall AND HAVE MEXICO PAY FOR IT. If you fail to answer one out of two questions on a test, you fail!
The base should be reminded every time the wall is mentioned that the money is coming from their collective pockets, not from Mexico’s.
Query: can a President declare a national
emergency every time he doesn’t get the funding he wants? If so, what limits him or her? If Trump wins, can it be said we truly are entering the age of the Imperial Presidency, aka Cheny’s Dream?

Well, that can happen too. On a busy day with everyone chattering you can see the servers starting to creak and strain under the load. Usually when they get this situation cleared up the comments all come open in a flood so we just have to be patient as usual. Character-building, it is.
