Ok, this calls for popcorn popped in ghee, then topped with Irish butter and grated cheddar.

More threatening, justice-obstructing tweets from Pres. Self-Impeacher coming soon.

Finally we’re getting back to Topic A and Individual 1’s worst nightmare, a public airing of Trump by Cohen. Lanny Davis is promising stories of great interest from Cohen.

and will haul him in for questioning next Wednesday.

Hmmm. Being a Non FOX TV viewer, I watched Lawrence O’Donnell with dinner, after I got home from my snow delayed commute last night. I think he said at least three times that Michael Cohen was appearing totally voluntarily, not pursuant to any subpoena. But maybe TPM is just using sport fishing metaphors…

Interesting timing re: Trump out of country and Mueller report to DOJ.

Oooooo, you’re breaking out the good stuff!!!

I just need this to be over. This hearing has been hanging now for way too long with not so legitimate excuses. Get on with it.

Maybe he can be declared persona non grata while he is gone.

The general public —and not just us news junkies— need to know what’s been going on, and the appropriate way is through public hearings like this. Thank you, Chairman Cummings.

Maybe we can construct some kind of barrier— we could even call it Peaches —and not let him back into the country.

Michael Cohen’s saga is surreal. Trump, as was the case when he asked Russia to look for HRC’s missing emails, has openly asked them to put heat on Cohen’s father-in-laws extended family in the Ukraine. We don’t know the terror that might have ensued for them, perhaps none has, but it probably does not take much effort in Putin’s realm to instill a feeling of intimidation

Go for it and don’t accept any excuses… also have the subpoena ready when he waffles or evades.

Have I ever mentioned how much I love Chairman Cummings?

The Orville Redenbacher PAC needs to send Cohen’s go-fund-me page a couple thousand large.

Widdle Donnie Drumpf is not going to be happy about this, expect the harassment of Cohen’s family to pick up again.

As this day has progressed, I’m getting a good vibe. It has been a very good day for justice and the rule of law: Stone, Acosta/Epstein, NC-09 hearing show that our justice system and review process can work even against the connected and powerful.

Andrew McCabe has given me some hope. He has been utterly relentless on his interview circuit. Today, he’s demanding a full public release of any Mueller report and indicated that Jeff Sessions was made a subject of the counterintelligence review. He continues to beat the drum on the danger that Trump represents. He has changed the conversation in this country.

Let’s also not forget the MAGA coast guard nut who got caught and was sent to jail pending trial. Very good work by the FBI.

[As an aside, though I’m frustrated by the disproportionate media coverage share, prosecutors seem to have a legit case against Jussie Smollett].

Now, we have Cohen. I maintain that Trump is weak. All it takes is for someone to break down that week door to expose him and hold him accountable and his presidency will end quickly. The GOP refuses to do their part so that’s what has made it harder and take longer. But Michael Cohen could be one of those pivotal pieces in this story. If he exposes the underbelly of Trumper corruption on national tv, like Andrew McCabe, he will leave a mark.
