âClearly, federal regulations prohibit a blanket waiver to fly first class except to accommodate disabilities or special needs.â
I think itâs pretty clear Chief Pruitt qualifies on both accounts.
What a pussy. Get out of government.
I am sure there are some among us who would pay for a first class seat just to get in this guys face⌠perhaps we need a twitter alert whenever he checks into first class for a flight.
The real mystery here is not why is Pruitt flying first class but rather why is Trey Gowdy doing the right thing.
Sneaky bitch is up to something; ever since he saw underlying intel in the SCIF he has been running hot, straight and normal (h/t to the submariners) and that is bizarre for him.
âWe live in a very toxic environment politically, particularly around issues of the environment,â Pruitt said in an interview with a New Hampshire newspaper. âWeâve reached the point where thereâs not much civility in the marketplace and itâs created, you know, itâs created some issues and the (security) detail, the level of protection is determined by the level of threat.â
This quote by him has been bothering me since it was first reported. After mulling it over with sufficient caffeine Iâve come to the conclusion that Scotty is a commodity to be bought and sold. For his value as a marketplace commodity to increase he canât mingle with the riffraff, i.e. the regular people that his decisions will effect and that the riffraff arenât paying for him to oppose. Beside heâs just and OK snowflake.
The âtoxic environmentâ is what Pruit wants to recreate after almost fifty years of improving environmental standards.
He is a former Federal prosecutor. He has an insiderâs knowledge of how that system works in addition to having seen the evidence. He may see Muellerâs train coming down the track at speed and want to get out of the way.
The South Carolina Republicanâs letter sent Tuesday specifically cites the evolving explanations of EPA spokesman Jahan Wilcox, who initially told reporters that Pruitt had a âblanket waiverâ to fly first class before then saying separate waiver had been granted by ethics officials for each flight. Federal employees are typically supposed to fly coach, and travel rules such bar blanket waivers.
Just like the Blanket Waiver for Jared Kushner and Rob Porter and 130 other Trump WH employees to stay on their jobs and view Classified material without a Permanent Security Clearance.
Remember when Trump and Giuliani and FOX and Gingrich were claiming that Hillary Clinton needed to be indicted for failing to protect Classified information?
Anyone making book on whether this goes beyond âdemandingâ flight records? Please.
Run for office- and run FOR something! Donât just run against Trump. Youâll either be preaching to the choir or confirming, in some peopleâs minds, that âthe elitesâ are out to get their man.
Get REAL specific, too. You want to run on jobs or healthcare reform or the new landfill? You must have a plan. THEN point out the difference between having a plan, and promising to work on a plan âvery soonâ.
This site, https://www.runforoffice.org/, allows you to enter your ZIP code and see what offices are available to you and the filing window for that office. They also have a few video short-courses on running a campaign. In my state you file for office during a 1-week period in May, just three months from now.
Become a Precinct Committee Officer, sometimes itâs a Ward officer. Meet your neighbors and get out the vote. Find good citizens willing to run for office.
Run for School Board. Make sure Civics is being properly taught. Think a majority of America knows how government works? Just 26% of eligible voters in America voted for Trump, and half of all voters stayed home last November. Todayâs 10-year olds will be voting for President in 8 years.
Run for Mayor, City Council, County Commissioner, Borough Assembly. And get on your Planning Commission.
Run for State Legislature or Congress. The next census is in 2020 when weâll redraw Congressional Districts. Trump is ALREADY trying to rig the census- talk about âvoter fraudâ!
Register people to vote. If you need to help people overcome the GOP-led Voter run around help them do that. This site, https://www.aauw.org/resource/organize-a-voter-registration-drive/, has a how-to on organizing a voter registration drive. Or even sitting outside Wal Mart with a folding chair and a card table.
Civics, civility and civilization all share the same roots. Get crackinâ!
Pruitt is a self-righteous creep.
Pruitt is worried about security? Heâs safer on an airplane than heâd be in a schoolhouse.
I think most modern airliner cargo holds are pressurized.
Scotty Pruitt could have a sweet, quiet, hassle-free ride down there, even quieter if unpressurized.
Last seen in his office sound proof booth trying to rustle up these records âŚwill meet the same fate as Price if my faith in scumbag behavior holds trueâŚ
Count me among those who think Pruitt should travel more. An extended tour of Mongolia would be a good idea.
Pruitt should be fired for stealing our tax dollars to fund his paranoid behavior.
But, in retrospect, Pruitt isnât paranoid in believing everyone hates him. Itâs very, very trueâŚ
Can we please just quit screwing around here-
SCOTT PRUITT IS DELIBERATELY DEFRAUDING THE U.S. GOVERNMENT THROUGH UNNECESSARY EXPENSES AND PURCHASES MADE WITH TAXPAYER DOLLARS.
There. Jesus.
âWe live in a very toxic environment politically, particularly around issues of the environment,â Pruitt said in an interview with a New Hampshire newspaper. â
Is irony dead, or have we entered the Twilight Zone (or some combination of the two with a little SNL mixed in?)
As a public servant is should be his JOB to interact with the real Americans, not just those who use their money to live in a completely different gated world than the rest of us.
